Little Hands
Our vision for this nursery school is for it to be a place where young children can develop and grow in a safe, caring, and Christian environment. We desire it to be a place where these children can develop social and academic skills from positive and caring role models. We will strive to provide a well rounded experience for each child throughout the year. Specifically, Little Hands will strive to provide:
- Examples of Christian values, in modeling and practice.
- A personal relationship with teachers, conducive to mutual trust between child an adult.
- Opportunities for individual social interaction with peers.
- Opportunities for large groups interaction to develop cooperative behaviors in the children.
- Ample practice utilizing small motor skills, such as cutting, coloring, pasting, writing, etc.
- Large motor skill practice such as balancing, hopping, creative movement, etc.
- An appreciation for music, both sacred and secular.
- Practice and encouragement on acquisition of academic skills needed to enter formal schooling.
- An appreciation for the world as God’s creation and all of the beauty within.
“Children are indeed a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” (Psalm 127:3)
